Committee Opportunities

Admissions/Will Call/Parking
Sell tickets and assist security to ensure all spectators have proper credentials before proceeding onto the course.  Must have a pleasant personality, be able to make change, and be very detailed as you welcome the spectators to the RTO.

Parking:  Work with tournament staff to help facilitate a strong first impression to our tournament patrons at each parking lot, this is key and needs to be a welcoming and informative area. Work with Operations Manager to help ensure proper patron education on restricted tournament items, help establish security stations, distribute tournament collateral and be able to answer general questions.  Monitor shuttle buses for efficient and timely transportation of VIP parking patrons, caddies, volunteers, spectators, hospitality venues, etc. (Monday-Sunday)

Course Services
This group allocates drinks, ice and supplies to player and hospitality areas on course. Also distributes programs and pairings guides to hospitality suites and driving range area. (Monday-Sunday)

Golf Channel
Join the Golf Channel production crew as a ball spotter or microphone operator. Please be able to walk the golf course and work with two-way radio communication headsets. (Thursday-Sunday)

Hospitality
Provide information, assistance and security to corporate hospitality suite holders at their private entrances. (Wednesday-Sunday)

Laser Operator
Operate a simple greenside or fairway laser as part of the Shotlink scoring system. Must attend one mandatory training session with TOUR officials the week prior. Very easy to learn! (Thursday-Sunday)

Leaderboard 
Receive up to the minute scoring from the Shotlink Scoring System and maintain the official PGA TOUR scoreboard on the 18th green. This team requires some physical lifting and climbing. (Thursday-Sunday)

Marshals
Provide gallery control, ball spotting and get the best view of golf! Marshals will be assigned to a specific hole on course during tournament play. The Hole Captain will contact you to coordinate your schedule. (Thursday-Sunday)

Shuttle Services
Provide golf cart and van transportation for players, caddies, volunteers and spectators on course. Will provide evacuation in case of an emergency. (Monday-Sunday)

Special Area Ambassadors
Our Special Area Ambassadors interact directly with patrons and sponsors of the tournament.  Special Areas include hospitality suites on the 18th hole, VIP Pavilion on the 16th hole, tournament entrance, and shuttle buses.  The Special Area Ambassadors are responsible for serving as the official greeters on the shuttle buses and at the tournament entrance, serving as the liaisons between our hospitality sponsors and the tournament staff, and being the source of information for patrons. Ambassadors are expected to be friendly and familiar with the tournament as they are resources to tournament patrons and are responsible for distributing tournament programs and pairings sheets at strategic locations for tournament information and sponsor exposure. (Monday-Sunday)

Standard Bearers
Walk inside the ropes with a group of players during their round and display their scores on a 5-pound standard sign. Please be available to walk at least 3 rounds during the week. (Thursday-Sunday)

Transportation
Assist in transporting players and guests to and from hotels, the airport, and golf course. Shifts are available as early as the Friday BEFORE tournament week through the Monday AFTER. (Friday-Monday)

Walking Scorer
Limited number of volunteers - Using a Palm Pilot (hand held computer) walk with an assigned group of golfers for 18 holes recording each player's score on each hole. New walking scorers must work the Pro-Am. (Wednesday-Sunday)

Wild Card Team
Must be well versed in all aspects of volunteer committees; may be asked to fill in for any commitee as needed. (Monday-Sunday)
