About The Legends at Sparks Marina
The Legends at Sparks Marina is the Reno-Tahoe area’s newest attraction, offering visitors to the center more than 600,000 square feet of shops and restaurants all tied together by beautiful land and hardscape features including fountains, outdoor living rooms complete with fireside seating, surround sound and plenty to look at in The Legends’ hundreds of monuments, statues and medallions honoring historical “legends” in Nevada history. Set along the shores of the Sparks Marina just minutes from downtown Reno at Sparks Boulevard on I-80 East, shoppers can see replica jet planes from the National Championship Air Races, a giant cutthroat trout comprised of more than 500 small, stainless steel trout or sit next to Mark Twain as he reads his morning paper, all while enjoying The Legends’ “Legendary Celebration,” taking place through Friday, July 31 through Sunday, Aug. 9. Featuring free events, activities, celebrity appearances, food demonstrations, fashion shows and more, including a sidewalk sale of epic proportions on Saturday, Aug. 1, The Legends gives patrons the opportunity to peruse 45-plus shops, many of which are first-to-market, all while enjoying free samples, live entertainment and a farmer’s market. Among many others, retailers include OshKosh B’Gosh, BCBG Max Azria, Gap Outlet, Easy Spirit, Kenneth Cole, Vans Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Adidas, Banana Republic Factory Store, Off Broadway Shoes, Nine West Outlet, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and the largest all sports store in the world, a 295,000-square-foot Scheels All Sports, giving shoppers a selection that’s unrivaled in the Reno-Sparks area.
